Staff Sergeant Beowulf-B251 was a Spartan-III commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command, attached to Special Warfare Group Three. Beowulf was the leader of Bravo Squad, an elite group of spartans who fought during the Fall of Reach, operating under the call-sign of Bravo Two. His comrades gave him the nickname of the Geatish hero throughout his augmentation and following training thereafter. Beowulf was instrumental in destroying key Covenant strategical points of interest during the Battle of Reach, but ultimately perished in battle during an assault on New Alexandria.
