Mr. Edgar appears in the Muppet Babies episode "Journey to the Center of the Nursery" operating equipment that alleviates the Earth of its pressure points by way of earthquakes and volcanoes. The Babies happen upon him while looking for Baby Fozzie's skate key which they lost down a vent in The Nursery. Working alone to keep the Earth from blowing up, Mr. Edgar gives the Babies tips on how to survive in their home in the event of an earthquake.
