The Scottis League One is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, established in July 2013. The league consists of 10 teams who play each other 4 times each, two at home and two away. The team that finishes first place gains promotion to the Scottish Championship, and the team that finishes 10th place will be relegated to the Scottish League Two. Teams finishing second, third, fourth and the club finishing ninth in the Scottish Championship will be entered into the play-offs.
