The Moose Jaw Canucks were a junior team. They first appeared in 1923-24, when they lost out in the Southern Saskatchewan League. It was in 1933-34 that they really got started. They appeared in Saskatchewan Junior Hockey for fifteen straight seasons, winning the provincial title in 1938-39, 1944-45. 1945-46, 1946-47, 1947-48, and in 1948-49 as a member of the Western Canada Junior Hockey League (1949-56). During this string of five straight provincial championships, the Canucks also won the Western Canada playoffs in 1945 & 1947, losing the Memorial Cup playoffs both times.
