Designed to be used by Force users to train themselves in the art of lightsaber combat, the G-547b Balin Training Droid achieves this goal with great success. It was created by Muir Robotics at their Arkania facility in late 15 ABY, early 16 ABY and was put into production shortly afterwards. Designed in part by Erik Muir, the droid has been programmed with a wide variety of different lightsaber combat techniques. This is a tongue in cheek action on Erik Muir's behalf.
