Nicola and Scarlett worry about Jimmy as he reads the condolence cards. Jimmy is adamant that Thomas and Anya must not find out the truth about Tom's death. Nicola and Scarlett then give him the eulogy they've written for him to help him out. At the church, Jude and Edna prepare for the funeral and Edna warns Cain to stay away. Nicola and Scarlett are relieved when Jimmy appears, ready for what lies ahead. The hearse creeps through the village as Scarlett comforts Anya and tries to take Thomas's hand. Jude begins the service as Thomas shakes his head, cynical at Jude's words. Jimmy reads his eulogy, but Thomas becomes increasingly upset and shocks everyone with an outburst in the church then leaves. Meanwhile, Lisa visits Chas and as she asks about Carl's funeral, Chas begins to crumble. S
