The Bombardment of Kamino was a CIS attempt to take Kamino. They lost due to the Seventh Sector Army being in the system at the time of the attack. The clone starfighter squadrons took out the Vulture droid bombers. On the ground, the small droid search-and-destroy squad was killed by the 501st.
