According to the show's armorer, Rob Fournier, the Genii Pistol is a 9mm Taurus PT99 pistol with an aluminum shell built on top of it. It was built for the movie "Time Cop". Despite being manufactured by Taurus of Brazil, it is called the "Time Cop Beretta" due to the Taurus's resemblance to the Beretta pistol.
