Bounce Pads are a gameplay feature, introduced in LittleBigPlanet 2. When you jump on them, you get flung into the air. The launch height can be tweaked to smaller or larger heights. While in the air, Sack-Thing will do flips or spins. Bounce Pads have faces on them that resemble Sack-Thing. In an update released in the September of 2011, you can tweak Bounce Pads, so you have to press X to bounce you. These types of Bounce Pads have a blue light instead of the normal white light. They come automatically starting with LittleBigPlanet 3.
