Iresine Syndrome was a medical condition first diagnosed in the 23rd century, in which victims fell into a coma. A very rare neurological disorder, it was characterized by electropathic residue and a severely decreased histamine count. Telepathic memory invasion committed by the Ullian memory historian Jev in 2368 was misdiagnosed as Iresine Syndrome on a number of worlds he had previously visited. This diagnosis was ruled out by Dr. Crusher as the victims did not present decreased histamine counts. (TNG: "Violations" )
