Earl Douglas Averill, Jr. (September 9, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio), is a professional baseball player who played catcher in the Major Leagues from 1956-1963. He would play for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, and Cleveland Indians. His father, Earl Averill, is enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
