Drawing from the Imagination: Mythological Creatures in Star Wars is a two-part blog series published through the Star Wars Blog, on October 17 and November 7, 2013. It was written by Tim Veekhoven and Kevin Beentjes. The first part focused on mythological stories from various Earth religions that influenced scenes in the Star Wars movies and series, as well as various ships with names inspired by names of mythological creatures. The second part described the various creatures and species in the Star Wars universe whose appearance was inspired by legendary creatures.
