George III of Great Britain was King of Great Britain and Ireland from 1760-1820. He tried to be a Dictator a great deal but wasn't a popular or wise monarch in the UK or in the American colonies. He's also known for his mental instability which however only affected him noticeably in his younger days and his last days. Why did George III make so many unwise decisions as a ruler. Could it be that his sickness affected him to some extent even when he appeared healthy?
