Following X5, Miyawaki left the company along with the game's lead composer, Naoto Tanaka, to be reemployed by Value Wave. During this time he and Tanaka worked through this company to create music for Mega Man X7 along with four other members. Also like Tanaka, he usually employs techno rock in his compositions. Little else is known about Miyawaki, as it seems he has left the video game industry following his work on X7.
