On the Atom Smasher level of TimeSplitters 2, there are several fires that need to be put out with a Fire Extinguisher. If you collect a fire extinguisher before reaching the checkpoint and then decide to restart from the checkpoint, the extinguisher will not be able to put out the fires. The only way to overcome this problem, is to collect another fire extinguisher and try again.
