The CAM-327-17 Task Force was a special missions naval force jointly comprised of elements of the UNSC Navy and the Covenant Fleet that was dispatched to CAM-327-17 to investigate the Forerunner Dreadnaught and the destruction of the Steadfast Faith. It was co-commanded by Fleet Master 'Asasee and Commodore Elaine Lujayne, and after the death of the former and the capture of the latter, would be commanded by Captain Evelyn Lake. Later, the UNSC Apache would be detached from the task force, and it would be supplemented by four guided missile frigates and unidentified ONI naval assets.
