In-game information states that the facility is located on the 'Southeast Pacific Rim' off the coast of modern-day Chile; this is presumably the border of the South American and Nazca Tectonic plates. Poseidon, one of Eliot Sinclair's, robots almost launched a nuclear missile to the fictional country of Gorbastan, but was stopped by Agent 5 of the Temporal Protectorate.
