Born and raised in a small village of Aloria, Inara is the daughter of the town's healer and village teacher. Over the years, Peter has taught his daughter in the ways of herb and knife, hoping that she would one day take over as the village's medical authority. Diana, on the other hand, has tried with varying degrees of success, to turn Inara in a proper lady in hopes of a successful marriage match. Inara absorbed the tutelage of her father and tries her best to be the graceful and eligible maiden her mother wishes, but also to limited success.
