The Spliced Reel is an item needed for the "Cinéma Vérité" sidequest found in Silent Hill: Downpour. It is created in the Chastain Heights Cinema's film splicing room, after combining the "House on the Lake" film reel, "The Silent Children" film reel, and "The Secret in the Attic" film reel. It is then put into the film projector to create the final movie scene so Murphy Pendleton can complete the quest.
