Jonathan Stuart Simpson was a citizen of the Canmore Republic on the planet Silvestria. As a young man, after leaving school, he worked in a boatyard and helped build some of the boats with which the Sea Fencibles attacked the Kingdom of Chuiban when he was the Canmore Director of the Guard.
