Matthew has set up a secret meeting with Andrew Raftry regarding access through a field. Matthew arrives back to hear that Tom is selling their land to concentrate on the haulage and plant hire. Matthew declares that he will take his dad on as he has found a great way to access the development. He asks the others to out vote his dad.
