ARC-887, alternatively known by his nickname of Hound was an Advanced Recon Commando lieutenant who fought in the 179th Legion. After years of service, he perished on his homeworld of Kamino during the Battle of Kamino, when he sacrificed himself in order to prevent the escape of a gunship load of Kaminoans.
