After learning some new techniques from his teacher who also could use the Lava release. Kagutsuchi was able to infuse his Lava release with his gentle fist techniques, by moulding the earth and fire chakra into each of his hands as opposed to his lungs. He can inject this Lava release chakra into the bodies of others turning the afflicted area into quicklime, restricting an opponents chakra flow, or into molten rock melting their body from the inside out. Able to do this with proximity or touch, using his immense chakra control gained from his Byakugan, he can release this chakra from all of his tenketsu, creating a field of sharpened chakra capable of entering the bodies of those to come near him or through the Air Palm, by using his corrosive chakra instead of air.
