Mari Shimazaki is a character illustrator, known for designing the lead character in Bayonetta. In Soulcalibur V she designed Leixia's primary costume (interestingly, the design was completed before her name was chosen), and Ivy and Tira's alternate costumes. In Soulcalibur: Lost Swords, she designed the unique "Rabbit Football" and "SC Woman" custom outfits.
