A math-breathing dragon was a type of superintelligent creature bioengineered by the Givin to produce complex equations. The equations were so complex they were beyond the comprehension of most beings other than the Givin themselves, and would cause most beings to be horribly mutilated. One math-breathing dragon was the pet of Tim and Sue and escaped when their ship crashed on Korriban. It horribly mutilated the Graverobber and Brad before becoming enchanted with Betty Renz, who could comprehend its equations. Following Betty, it engaged in epic combat with the Lost Beaver of Korriban. The two monsters destroyed each other.
