Zabrak Scalp Necrosis was a relatively low-grade flesh-eating virus that afflicted the Zabrak species around the time of the Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The virus, which caused its victims' cranial horns to fall out, was cured when a doctor developed a vaccine for it. The fame the doctor gained from the achievement led to his appointment as acting head of the Republic Health Administration.
