Ikoma Tasuki was a skilled courtier from the time of the first Gozoku. His intense speeches on behalf of the Empress Hantei Yugozohime were instrumental in cementing her power and convincing many former Gozoku from the Crane and Phoenix to retire or commit seppuku. After his fortieth birthday, Tasuki founded the dojo of the Ikoma Orator school and taught his speech-making methods to other Ikoma.
