This pair is one of the most popular pairing in Final Fantasy VII. When Zack died a mysterious angel appeared, many thought this was just a random angel others think this was Aerith. When Zack died, Sephiroth killed Aerith in the same day along Zack but Zack was killed not by Sephiroth but by the Shinra SOLDIERS. After their deaths they always appeared side by side.
