Speed-E-Mart is a convenience store of Shelbyville. It is similar to the Kwik-E-Mart of Springfield. Just like Kwik-E-Mart's Owner, the owner of the market is also of Asian background, but unlike Apu, who is Indian, the country of the Speed-E-Mart owner is unknown (though he at least seems to be East Asian).
