Duke Conover was born Patrick Gerard Conover on May 25, 1960, in Santa Monica, Calif. Duke is a newspaper editor, reporter and book author. He currently serves as the editor of [The News Herald], a 12,000 circulation daily newspaper in [Morganton, N.C.]
