Hydragaar, an Athyra, was an existential philosopher who was already considered to be one of the classic Dragaeran thinkers early in Tortaalik's reign. Hydragaar and the others from his philosophical school believed that if six people observed an event and made six different reports as to what had happened, that circumstance was proof that six different events had in fact happened, each with its own separate, and valid, reality. In Athyra, Vlad discusses Hydragaar's ideas about reality, and seems to disagree with them.
