The Battle of Korll was an engagement between the UNSC Navy and the Covenant Reborn, occurring on 8 October 2555 in the Korll system. The most major intelligence-led operation by the newly formed UNSC Office of Defence Intelligence at that time, the UNSC's intent was kill one of the Covenant Reborn's Hierarchs, the Prophet of Humility, and to destroy the only known CSO-class supercarrier in existence, True Ascension. Although the UNSC succeeded in eliminating Humility, True Ascension was able to escape before the UNSC plan was put into full effect.
