Jacques Joseph Charles Villeneuve (jack VILL-nerve; born 9 April 1971 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian Formula One driver, who won the 1997 Formula One World Championship, the 1995 Indianapolis 500, and he is the son of legendary Ferrari driver, Gilles Villeneuve and nephew of Jacques Villeneuve, Sr. After being dropped by BMW Sauber in 2006, Villeneuve briefly raced in what was then the N.A.S.C.A.R. Nextel Cup, a US oval based touring car series. He now races the FIA's World Rallycross Championship.
