A cross between a Golden Delicious and an Indo apple, which will grow to a size that is larger than either of these. It has a creamy white, firm flesh that has a juicy and slightly sweet taste. The Mutsu apple has a greenish yellow skin that will have a tint of orange to it at times. It is an excellent snacking apple and is also good for baking, salads and sauces. It is also known as a "Crispin apple."
