Tauntaun Troopers were Rebel troopers who rode on Tauntauns during the events of the Galactic Civil War. They were largely utilized for scouting purposes, although they also saw some combat as well. They were outfitted at Rebel Troop Centers and carried flamethrowers. Tauntaun Troopers saw frequent use during the events leading up to and during the Battle of Hoth, with their purposes including scouting and also battles.
