The UNSC Dublin is a Sahara-class heavy prowler commissioned in 2540 by the Office of Naval Intelligence. The Dublin had conducted several high-risk observation and reconnaissance operations detailing Covenant fleet strengths, supply line chains and occupied worlds beyond pre-war human territories during its first ten years of active duty. In 2551, the UNSC Dublin was present in the Hyacinth system when the Covenant invaded, where the prowler observed the complete massacre of human colonists on Hyacinth ε before leaving the system.
