The novel starts on New Year's Eve and so takes place between Season 1 Episode 10 Wicca Envy and Season 1 Episode 11 Feats of Clay, as Claire is now Prue's boss at the Buckland's Auction House, and Phoebe says (in episode 11) that she has not seen an old friend for the past five months (since she returned from New York). The plot revolves around a curse that has been placed onto Prue. She kisses a stranger and then has the urge to kiss other guys, but every time she does she grows weaker and will eventually die! Phoebe and Piper have to find a way to undo the Curse.
