Hometown Heroes is an insert set in 2011 Topps Allen and Ginter. This 100-card set features current major league players, highlighting their hometowns. The cards were inserted almost 1 per pack, acting as the decoy cards in packs. Interesting that out of 100 players, Topps did not include a single Cub, Astro, Padre, Mariner or Oriole. Then again, maybe they were brilliant, as those four of those five teams finished in last place in their division in the 2011 season.
