[Source] A lightning device was used by the warlord of the Galactic Empire Trioculus to simulate the Force lightning ability. This piece of cybernetic technology had been implanted inside Trioculus' body by MD-5, the warlord's private medical droid. Trioculus used it to convince assembled Imperial officers he was the son of the late Galactic Emperor Palpatine. However, the warlord had to stop using the implant very quickly, because electricity could prove fatal to him.
