Mans is a member of the 2012 First Congress under Prime Minister Oos Wes Ilava. He and Lón Haezeldónk are the only members of the Limburgish Minority Party or LMP in the Congress. In the 2013 Congress, he and Haezeldónk were re-elected, together with Joean Góldhammer. Since 2013, he is also a member of the Oceana State Council.
