Bob Walters is a former NASCAR driver from Salisbury, NC. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career. All of those races came in 1951, when Walters debuted at N. Wilkesboro. Starting 35th in the thirty-eight car field, Walters drove to a disappointing 33rd place finish. Luckily, that would be his worst finish of the year, but his season wasn't much better. His best finish in the year was a 16th at Hillsboro, his only career top-twenty finish. His season was typified in his final career race, crashing to a low finish at N. Wilkesboro.
