The Battle of Castle Black is a battle during the Conflict Beyond the Wall and the War of the Five Kings, the latter due to the intervention of Stannis Baratheon at the battle's end. The entire Season 4 episode "The Watchers on the Wall" is devoted to the first night of the battle, while Jon Snow's parley with Mance Rayder and the arrival of Stannis Baratheon's forces the next day occur in the following episode, "The Children".
