During the late 1940s and late 1950s, the Resistance made small attacks throughout Vichy France, led by the cybernetically-enhanced Philippe Petain. In 1954, however, the Resistance secured the Vichy French space ship Revolution Nationale while it was docked in Vichy. De Gaulle and most of the Resistance fled on the ship into space, and rechristened it the Free French Ship Georges Clemenceau.
