Bellamy attacked the salvage brothers and mountblanc cricket, stole gold from cricket which he risked his life to get and also mocked their beliefs (that there exists a sky island). That was more then enough to enrage luffy and take action against bellamy.This is because Bellamy attacked Cricket and took the gold he obtained. So Luffy returned to Bellamy to get it back.
