General Harald Sunde (born 9 March 1954 in Hurdal) is a Norwegian military officer currently serving as the head of the Norwegian Armed Forces. His appointment to succeed General Sverre Diesen as Chief of Defence of Norway on 29 May 2009 was on 1 October 2009 confirmed by the government.
