Corrupted monsters are mostly enhanced version of other creatures found in runescape, there's considered to be 100's of different types of corrupted monsters, each of which are stronger than they're normal counterparts. The only known types of corrupted monsters are found in the Tower of Void. Corrupted beasts are one of the very rare types of corrupted monsters which do not have a normal counter part.
