TYI flex-armor was a high performance textile produced by Drolan Plasteel, made by weaving durasteel with reinforced ceramics. The resulting material was light and flexible, yet able to withstand blaster fire and slugthrower projectiles. Drolan Plasteel used this material to create high performance blast vests.
