The Tucci were an influential patrician family that exercised de facto control over Nova Roma for two generations. The first ruler, Tucci the Elder (generally known simply as Tucci) took control of the city-state during times of internal turmoil at the end of the Nova Roman kingdom and the transition to a republic. He made a secret pact with Germanistan, receiving military aid in exchange for an oath of fealty to the Germanistani leader. His son, Tucci the Younger (Generally known as Tucci Junior), continued the nations alignment with their northern neighbour and led the nation into the Germanistani War alongside that nation. The reign of the Tucci family ended with Tucci Jr., who, after Germanistan had fallen to Xenouhertz, was arrested and the rightful king was upgraded from a nominal po
