Emergency Mittens is an acoustic rock duo from the dual areas of Highland Park and North Arlington, NJ. The band is made up of engaged couple Ryan Crowley (guitars, vocals) and Andrea Hughes (percussion, vocals). http://photos-220.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v231/251/11/19800220/n19800220_30740711_927.jpg The idea formulated between the two in early 2007 as a vehicle for Crowley's more personal songs, as well as songs written by Hughes. After kicking it around for some time, Crowley and Hughes opted to make a live debut at an Open Mic at P.J.'s Restaurant in Highland Park on June 28, 2008.
