Torres was born as Christopher Lyne Torres in Bakersfield, California. As a martial artist he was hired for the on a video game based action film Mortal Kombat (1995, with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Lloyd Kino, and stunts by Dana Hee, Sidney Liufau, Pat Romano, and Jeff Imada), after which he earned his SAG card. Torres previously appeared as action actor in the films The Killing Zone (1991, under coordination of Cole McKay) and Shootfighter: Fight to the Death (1992, with Edward Laurence Albert, Mark Ginther, and Ted Barba).
